Story of character - Chiraia was from the start clumsy and tempered and has given his parents and superiors in the academy a lot of trouble. Whenever an exam was to take place, he would either fail or pass miserably and thus was not very popular with the other students. His father was one of the Jounin elite and did not care much for Chiraia since he was ''a failure''. One day, his father was wounded in a battle and remained paralyzed as a result. This was the first time Chiraia and his father really talked ever since his birth and he was happy. His father told him that if he could prove to him that he indeed can succeed and become a ninjutsu master that then he would earn his respect. This affected Chiraia greatly and he has since tried hard in the academy to learn and pass with good marks.
